Wine-Down Wednesdays

Come be a part of the Wine-Down Wednesday Summer Series with the Akron Aeros at Canal Park! For only $18, you will receive a game ticket, a souvenir Aeros wine glass, and six wine samples — try the finest wines from local wineries while enjoying great Akron Aeros action! Featuring wines from The Winery at Wolf Creek, Troutman Vineyards, Maize Valley Winery, It’s Your Winery, Myrddin Winery, and Viking Vineyards. Vino & Vinyasa

Conclude your weekend with the ultimate in rejuvenation and relaxation. Relax your mind and body by participating in a yoga class then continue to unwind with wine! Instructed by Melissa Cugini of Nirvana Yoga in Richfield, your yoga class will invigorate you while relieving tension and stress. Afterwards you’ll enjoy a delicious glass of wine selected from The Winery at Wolf Creek’s collection. No yoga or wine experience required! Please bring your own yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.

Class begins at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 10th in the Great Room. The cost is $20 per person and prepayment is required. Space is limited, so call soon!

Yappy Hours

Yappy Hours

Come down and enjoy a glass of wine with your best friend – of the canine variety! Throughout the summer The Winery at Wolf Creek will host Yappy Hours on the second Tuesday of each month from 5:00–8:00 p.m. on the lawn. Proceeds¬†benefit GivePetsAChance (www.givepetsachanceus.org). Tickets are $10 per person at the door and include a raffle entry, a glass of wine, and goodies for your dog ($5 per person for non-drinkers includes a soda or bottle of water). Enjoy the ambiance at The Winery at Wolf Creek, meet other pet lovers and help animals in need!

Dates: June 12, July 10, August 14.

Also join us for Yappy Hour at Troutman Vineyards on Saturday, June 16 from 1:00–4:00 p.m. Proceeds¬†benefit GivePetsAChance (www.givepetsachanceus.org). Cooking with Wine with Jim Reynolds

Join us Sunday, June 17th at 5:30 p.m. for Cooking with Wine with the Winery’s epicurean, Jim Reynolds. Learn more about the perfect pairing of wine with food and how it can add flavor and depth to your favorite dishes, whether used as an ingredient or served alongside the meal.

Cooking with Wine will be held in the Great Room. The cost is $15 per person. The demonstration is limited to 40 persons and prepayment is required. Call the Winery at (800) 436-0426 to reserve a spot. There will be plenty of samples to taste, featuring seasonal produce and fresh herbs from Dayton Nursery in Norton, Ohio, and a collection of recipes to take home and try in your own kitchen. Bon appétit!

Cooking with Wine will also be held on July 22.

Wine and Cheese Cruise

Wine and Cheese Cruise

Come visit us on the Canalway Center Wine and Cheese Cruise on Friday, June 22nd or Saturday, June 23rd. Enjoy Troutman Vineyards and Wolf Creek wines along with local cheeses on the St. Helena III on Friday or Saturday evening. The boat departs at 6:30 p.m. each night. Tickets are $27 per person and can be purchased by calling 330-854-6835.

Wine Festivals

Main Street Kent Art & Wine Festival

On June 2nd from Noon–10 p.m., the streets of downtown Kent will again be filled with artists, local wineries, and live entertainment at the Sixth Annual Masterpieces on Main Art & Wine Festival. More than 60 artists, many foods available from Taproot Catering, and local wineries including The Winery at Wolf Creek and Troutman Vineyards. Admission is free, and for $10 event-goers can purchase a wine glass and three ‘taste’ tickets to use at winery booths. Wine will also be available for purchase to go.

Wolf Creek/Pine Run Grist Mill International Wine Festival

Come and enjoy international wines, domestic beers and some great food at the Grist Mill. Wineries will be represented, featuring wines from Ohio and around the world, including The Winery at Wolf Creek and Troutman Vineyards. Wine is available for tasting by the glass or bottle. Food is also available for purchase. Live music. Adult tickets are $10.00 each at gate, $8.00 in advance, which includes a logo glass and tastings. Under 21 tickets are $1.00. All tickets may be purchased at the gate. Wine & Food Pairing Session in the afternoon from Noon to 4 p.m. for an extra charge of $10.00 for that tent. Kids scavenger hunt with prizes, also a FREE Kids Sundae Bar. Presale tickets are non-refundable.

10th Annual Summer Solstice Wine, Art, and Music Festival
Friday, June 22nd from 4:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., Saturday June 23rd from Noon–10:30 p.m., and Sunday June 24th from Noon–6:00 p.m.

Admission is $8.00 daily, and includes Sarah’s Vineyard commemorative Cuyahoga Falls bicentennial wine glass. The festival is a three-day event featuring:
